Hi DC Yelpers:
Do you have a good idea for a beautiful yet fairly inexpensive wedding in DC? A friend of mine is getting married.
He was looking at Rock Creek park, but they don't allow booze.
September from 3PM-11PM, about 80 people.
Got any ideas about a house he can rent for the event? A beautiful park? Something interesting?
Also, he wants to serve pie instead of wedding cake. Know a great pie place in DC??

Hilton in Fair-lakes, Fairfax; Torpedo Factory in Old Town, Alexandria. Make sure a hotel is stumbling distance away. That will ensure a successful wedding for the guests.

Though I can't make specific recommendations, the estates in Chevy Chase and embassy row in Dupont are simply beautiful . . . I'm certain that they would price pretty high, but you might want to suggest researching these areas.
