oooh, this place is YUMMY!  i went there on a date once and it definitely has a charming, romantic, yet non-marina type vibe...can't remember what i ate but the food is french so i'd recommending starting your fast NOW.

BSB is great...the restau, not the band. Like Katie says, close to Marina without the scene. Good date spot, and solid food to boot. We were told the owners there also own Tratoria Contadina over in North Beach - so we checked that out and were not let down. You will order the meal...and find yourself scarfing the decorative fries as you wait for the bill...soo good.

Hi nish...baker street bistro is great. Even better if you were there for the prix fixe...try whatever soup de jour. The ones I've tried have been amazing.

best dinner i ever had in san fran... i'd fly all the way back to sf tonight just for all the wonderful restaurants i've been to during my past visits! (if only i didnt have work tomorrow... darn lol)
